Botucatu firefighters rescue dog trapped in hole for two days

The Botucatu Fire Department rescued a dog that had been trapped in a deep hole for approximately two days. The animal was located in a densely forested area near the Água Fria Stream, close to the bus station.

The rescue was initiated after passersby heard the animal's cries for help. Due to the depth of the cavity and the difficult terrain, firefighters utilized terrestrial rescue techniques to reach the dog and hoist it to safety. Following the operation, the dog was taken to the Botucatu municipal kennel for veterinary evaluation and care.
