Bardstown Bourbon Company unveils new limited-edition whiskey releases

Bardstown Bourbon Company has announced the launch of two new limited-edition whiskey expressions: Lochs of Jura Barrel Finish and the 2026 Discovery Series.

The Lochs of Jura Barrel Finish is a 104-proof blend of straight bourbon and rye whiskies from Indiana and Kentucky. The spirits were aged for 32 months in sherry casks that previously held single malt Scotch from the Isle of Jura, contributing maritime and smoky notes. This release earned 99 points at the 2026 International Wine & Spirit Competition.

The 2026 Discovery Series features a blend of 7, 10, and 11-year-old bourbons finished for four months in custom Garryana oak barrels. The bottles feature original artwork by Louisville artist Margaret Archambault.

Additionally, the company has released a Distillery Reserve Mars Collaboration, a limited-edition blend created with Japan’s Mars Whisky. This release combines Kentucky bourbons with Japanese single malts matured in Umeshu plum liqueur and Sakura wood casks, having undergone a year of co-aging in the same barrel.
