Bournemouth reportedly interested in Vasco da Gama winger Andres Gomez

Bournemouth are reportedly holding initial discussions regarding a potential transfer for Colombian winger Andres Gomez from the Brazilian club Vasco da Gama. The Premier League side is expected to submit a formal offer during the upcoming January transfer window.

Gomez, 24, has become a key attacking player for Vasco da Gama following a move from French side Rennes. Bournemouth recruitment officials reportedly view the winger as a similar profile to Rayan, another Vasco attacker who joined the Cherries in January and has since become a regular starter.

While Gomez is under contract until 2031, sources suggest any transfer fee would likely be lower than the €35 million paid for Rayan. Although Gomez has previously attracted interest from clubs such as Bayer Leverkusen, Bournemouth is now positioned to make a move as interest from other European sides grows.
