Bourton-on-the-Water man reported defecating in public bush

A man was reported defecating in a bush in the tourist village of Bourton-on-the-Water in the Cotswolds on Monday, August 24. The incident was witnessed by a parent and their five-year-old child near a holiday rental where Letch Lane meets Victoria Street and Letch Hill Drive.

A photo of the individual, showing him crouching in a bush with his trousers down, circulated on social media following the report. Witnesses noted that the man appeared unfazed by passersby, including a person on a mobility scooter.

Gloucestershire Constabulary confirmed they received a report regarding the incident. However, authorities stated that the individual could not be identified from the available photographic evidence and determined that it was ‘deemed disproportionate to investigate further’.
