Bovensiepen unveils limited 99-unit BMW Z4-based Spider

Bovensiepen Automobile has unveiled the Bovensiepen Spider, a highly exclusive, hand-built roadster based on the BMW Z4 M40i. Production of this limited edition is capped at just 99 units worldwide.

Engineers have significantly enhanced the vehicle's performance by modifying the existing 3.0-litre B58 turbocharged straight-six engine. Through revisions to the intake system and exhaust, the power output has increased to 435 hp and 580 Nm of torque, representing a substantial jump over the standard donor model. The Spider is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, with a top speed of 260 km/h, which can be further increased to 295 km/h via an optional Performance Package.

Designed in collaboration with Frank Stephenson, the Spider features aesthetic updates including a gloss-black front splitter, fender vents, side skirts, and a rear diffuser. It also sits on 20-inch forged wheels. The interior is equipped with Vernasca leather, Alcantara seat panels, and a Harman Kardon sound system.
