Bovensiepen unveils Spider, a limited-edition BMW Z4-based roadster

Bovensiepen, a new automotive marque founded by the family behind Alpina, has unveiled the Spider, a limited-edition two-seater roadster based on the BMW Z4. This marks the company’s third model, following the Zagato and 05 GT.

Designed in collaboration with Frank Stephenson, the Spider features an aggressive exterior with a custom splitter, side skirts, a large diffuser, and 20-inch forged wheels. Under the hood, the 3.0-liter straight-six engine has been optimized through intake and exhaust modifications rather than increased boost pressure, producing 435 hp and 580 Nm of torque. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of up to 295 km/h with an optional performance package.

Production is strictly limited to 99 units, with the first deliveries expected in the first quarter of 2027. In Germany, the Spider is priced starting at approximately €115,500, making it the brand's most accessible model to date.
