Boves hosts Iranian contemporary photography exhibition

The photography exhibition ‘Voci Velate. Visioni contemporanee dall’Iran’ (Veiled Voices. Contemporary Visions from Iran) will be hosted at the Apiceuropa headquarters in Madonna dei Boschi, Boves, from September 4 to November 4, 2026.

Featuring sixty images from sixty different Iranian photographers, the exhibition offers a visual journey through the country’s diverse landscapes and daily life. The collection includes depictions of deserts, mountains, bazaars, mosques, and various ethnic traditions, including Nowruz celebrations. The project aims to present a multifaceted view of Iran beyond common media portrayals.

The exhibition was curated by Alireza Naseri, president of the Freelance Iran Photographers Group, and Ivana Mulatero, director of the Museo Mallé. This event marks the third stage of a project that previously traveled through the Museo Mallé in Dronero and the Confraternita di Chiappera. The inauguration is scheduled for Friday, September 4, at 18:30, as part of the ‘Cuneo per la Pace’ program promoted by the Municipality of Cuneo. Admission is free.
