Boves, Italy: Wolves kill seven sheep in recent attack
In Sant’Anna di Boves, Italy, a recent wolf attack resulted in the deaths of seven sheep at a local farm. The Martini family, owners of the agricultural business, reported that the animals were found mutilated.
This incident follows a previous attack in Fontanelle approximately ten days ago, where a pack of three wolves killed ten Sambucana sheep. Despite efforts to secure the flock by moving them to a new enclosure closer to the farmhouse and increasing fencing, the predators were able to bypass the protections. Previous observations showed wolves jumping over fences nearly 1.8 meters high and digging under netting to access prey.
