Boves launches Pédibus walking program for primary students

The municipality of Boves is launching a ‘Pédibus’ program for primary school students starting October 12. This initiative, part of a school eco-mobility challenge, involves adult volunteers walking groups of children to school to reduce traffic congestion and pollution around educational facilities.

The program will initially operate on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings. Two departure points are planned: Place de l’Amiral Courbet and the beginning of Rue du Commandant Jan. The service is scheduled to depart at 08:25, arriving at the school by 08:35. Parents and volunteers will use the Mobilecool application to manage daily organization and registrations.
