Bowers & Wilkins to launch flagship 800 D5 speaker series in Japan

Bowers & Wilkins, the British high-end audio brand, has announced the release of its new flagship 800 D5 series loudspeakers. In Japan, shipments are scheduled to begin sequentially starting in mid-October 2026.

The 800 D5 series represents the culmination of 60 years of engineering, designed to reproduce music with high fidelity for both Hi-Fi enthusiasts and music industry professionals. The lineup includes various models such as the 801 D5 floorstanding speaker, priced at 4,730,000 yen in Stealth Black, and the 805 D5 bookshelf speaker, priced at 1,100,000 yen.

Other components in the series include center speakers (HTM81 D5 and HTM82 D5), dedicated speaker stands, and subwoofers (DB1D, DB2D, and DB3D). Certain finishes, such as Dark Walnut for specific center speakers, are expected to be available in January 2027.
