BowFlex launches SelectTech 52 adjustable dumbbell with metal upgrade

BowFlex has unveiled the SelectTech 52, the next‑generation version of its popular SelectTech 552i adjustable dumbbell. The new model retains the quick‑turn dial for weight selection but replaces the previous plastic internal parts with high‑grade metal components, improving stability and longevity. The weight plates have been redesigned into a uniform, flat‑disc format that more closely resembles traditional dumbbells, delivering a more balanced training feel across all weight settings.

Joachim Beckert, Director D2C at Johnson Health Tech, said the upgrade addresses growing expectations for durable home‑gym equipment, noting that “the SelectTech 52 is built to perform reliably even after years of intensive use.” The launch positions BowFlex to continue its influence in the home‑fitness market with a product that combines space‑saving design and enhanced durability.
