Bowling Green defeats Sacramento State 38-10

The Bowling Green Falcons defeated the Sacramento State Hornets 38-10 at Doyt L. Perry Stadium in their first-ever meeting. Despite an early interception by Sacramento State's Boogsie Silvera that led to a field goal, Bowling Green responded with 38 unanswered points.

Running back Austyn Dendy led the offense with two rushing touchdowns, including a 30-yard run in the third quarter. Quarterback Jay Kastantin contributed both on the ground and through the air, including a touchdown pass to freshman Joseph Saffold. The Falcons' defense also scored when D'kyah Banks returned a fumble 27 yards for a touchdown.

The victory improves Bowling Green to a 2-4 overall record and 2-0 in Mid-American Conference (MAC) play, marking their first 2-0 start in conference play since 2015. Sacramento State fell to 1-5 overall and 0-3 in the MAC.
