Collegiate athletics: Results in volleyball, soccer, and field hockey

Various collegiate athletic programs competed in recent matchups across football, soccer, volleyball, and field hockey.

In volleyball, the Bowling Green/Toledo Invitational saw mixed results. Bowling Green defeated Dayton 3-1, led by Karli Molnau’s 15 kills. Dayton secured a five-set victory over Missouri, while Missouri fell to Dayton in a closely contested match.

In soccer, Mercyhurst prepared for a centennial homecoming game against Bowling Green. The Lakers' men's soccer team, currently 3-2-2, faces the Falcons in a historic first meeting.

In field hockey, Wagner College earned its first win of the season with a 3-0 shutout victory over Mercyhurst, marking their third consecutive shutout against the Lakers.
