Bowling Green State University integrates meal plans into sports concessions

Bowling Green State University (BGSU) has launched a new partnership between BGSU Athletics and BGSU Dining to overhaul concession services at sporting events. A primary feature of this collaboration is the integration of student meal plans into the concession payment process.

Using the My Venue POS system, students can now use their BG ID to purchase food at physical concession stands in Doyt L. Perry Stadium. This allows for the use of Falcon Dollars and BG Bucks, with students receiving a 25% discount when utilizing their meal plans. The initiative aims to provide cost savings and the potential for themed menu items in future games.
