Bowling teams secure gold medals in China and Malaysia

Recent bowling competitions have seen significant achievements in both China and Malaysia. At the 2026 National Secondary School Bowling Championship held in Shanghai, the Wanzhou Commercial Secondary School team from Chongqing secured one gold, two silver, and three bronze medals. Notably, the team won the women's doubles Baker competition, marking the school's first national championship in this discipline.

In Malaysia, the Penang men's trio—consisting of Arif Hakim, Mohamad Zuhair, and Mohamad Hafiz—won the gold medal in the men's three-person event at the 2026 Malaysia Games. Competing at the Sunway Bowling Centre, the team achieved a total score of 1,916 points to secure the title.
