Bowmore 21 Year Old wins top World Whiskies Award

The Bowmore 21 Year Old has been named the top winner at the World Whiskies Awards 2026. The spirit, part of the Sherry Oak series, is aged in a blend of Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry casks with a final finish in a First-Fill Pedro Ximénez cask. The jury highlighted its balance of sweetness, sherry richness, and subtle peat smoke.

Other category winners include New Riff Straight Bourbon for Best Bourbon, Colonel EH Taylor Small Batch for Best Small Batch Bourbon, and Red Spot for Best Pot Still.
