Boxers debate the legacy and matchups of Floyd Mayweather

Professional boxers have shared their perspectives on the legacy and competitive standing of Floyd Mayweather.

Ryan Garcia, the current WBC welterweight champion, weighed in on a hypothetical matchup between Mayweather and Tommy Hearns. Garcia selected Hearns, known as ‘The Hitman,’ as the winner of a fantasy welterweight bout between the two legends.

Separately, former undisputed welterweight champion Zab Judah expressed his belief that he should have defeated Mayweather during their 2006 encounter for the IBF world welterweight title in Las Vegas. Although Mayweather won the fight by outpointing Judah, Judah claimed that going toe-to-toe with him early in the match was a significant risk for Mayweather.
