Boxing events held in Comodoro Rivadavia and San Pedro

In Comodoro Rivadavia, a boxing event at Gimnasio Municipal Nº 1 featured local successes. Darío “Mapuche” Alcapán secured his first professional victory after his opponent, Raúl Villarruel, was disqualified in the second round for throwing his mouthguard. Additionally, Jazmín Rodríguez won the unified AMBAPA title in the 60kg category by defeating Gisella Caynechu via a non-unanimous decision.

In San Pedro, boxer Martina “La Cobrita” Battista successfully completed the official weigh-in for the flyweight category (50.8 kg). She is scheduled to face Uruguayan fighter Rocío Mora for the AMB Cono Sur World Title in a 10-round bout at Club Banfield. The event is promoted by Chino Maidana Promotions.
