Boxing events scheduled in Catamarca and Córdoba

Several boxing events are scheduled for Friday, September 11, in Argentina, featuring both provincial and international titles.

In Catamarca, the Club Villa Cubas will host the “El León vuelve a rugir” event. The main attraction is a fight for the vacant provincial title in the 56 kg category between Yoel Chanampa and Misael Ormeño. The evening will also include eight amateur bouts overseen by the Federación Catamarqueña de Boxeo.

In Córdoba, the Club Unión Eléctrica will host the “Futuros Campeones Cordobeses” program. The headline match features Maximiliano Maidana and Luciano “Yiyo” Baldor competing over 10 rounds for the vacant South American bantamweight title. A co-starring match in the super middleweight category will see Edilberto “King Kong” Fernández face Franco “Pepo” Morello, alongside three other scheduled bouts.
