Boxing updates: Adam Azim and Amado Vargas secure new matchups

British contender Adam Azim is scheduled to face Gabriel “Gollaz” Valenzuela in a light-welterweight IBF eliminator on December 4 at London’s Copper Box Arena. The 12-round bout, promoted by Boxxer, serves as a pathway to a world title opportunity, with the winner positioned to challenge for the IBF belt in early 2027.

In bare-knuckle boxing, Amado Vargas will face Callum Nulty at BKB 61 in London on November 14. The matchup at the indigo at The O2 follows the cancellation of Vargas’s previously scheduled fight against Anel Dudo in Biloxi, which was called off due to an injury to Dudo. Vargas, an unbeaten fighter from Oxnard, California, will compete in the super featherweight division.
