The department of Boyacá, located in the Colombian Andes, offers diverse tourism opportunities ranging from colonial history to specialized agriculture. Key destinations include Villa de Leyva, a National Monument known for its large cobblestone main plaza and paleontological museums, and Monguí, famous for artisanal ball manufacturing and ecotourism near the Páramo de Ocetá.
