Boyacá Youth Camps Wrap Up Successful 'Expedition Tundama' Event

The VI Encuentro de Campamentos Juveniles, named “Expedition Tundama,” concluded in the department of Boyacá with a highly positive assessment. Dozens of regional squads—including Tunja, Chiquinquirá, Siachoque, Sáchica, Paipa, Pesca and Duitama—participated in a series of outdoor workshops covering psychosocial wellbeing, nutrition, healthy habits, basic survival, cartography, orientation and first‑aid techniques. Technical evaluations led to promotions in the Seed, Root and Stem categories, and the traditional integration bonfire was led by honorary camper Christian Loaiza Díaz.

The event was organized under the direction of Jefe Daniela Villate and received support from Indeportes Boyacá. The second day featured physical activation exercises coordinated by strategist Lyda Rodríguez and workshops on rustic construction and inclusive recreation, reinforcing the program’s commitment to volunteer processes and positive transformation of rural communities in Boyacá.
