BOYNEXTDOOR launches Japan tour with new single ‘Boom Boom Boom’

K-pop group BOYNEXTDOOR has launched the Japanese leg of their first world tour, titled ‘KNOCK ON Vol. 2’, beginning with performances at K-Arena Yokohama in late August. The tour is scheduled to include 13 concerts across six Japanese cities, including stops in Saga, Osaka, Miyagi, Nagano, and Chiba.

The tour features the group’s new Japanese digital single, ‘Boom Boom Boom’, released on August 18. The track has seen early success on digital platforms, appearing in the top 10 on Line Music and iTunes Japan shortly after its release. This follows previous commercial successes for the group in Japan, including the platinum-certified single ‘BOYLIFE’ and their album ‘HOME’.

In conjunction with the release, the group held a special music video viewing event for 100 fans. During the event, members discussed the filming process for ‘Boom Boom Boom’, sharing behind-the-scenes anecdotes regarding their various character roles in the video, such as a ramen shop owner, a tea master, and a shogi player.
