Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Oregon Opens New La Pine Site and Holds Enrollment Events

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Oregon is hosting three community enrollment events from Aug. 11‑13 to register school‑aged youth for after‑school programs. Two events take place in Bend—at Orchard Park (2001 NE 6th St.) on Aug. 11 and Al Moody Park (2225 NE Daggett Ln.) on Aug. 12—while a third is held in La Pine at the Parks & Recreation Center (16405 1st St.) on Aug. 13.

The events coincide with the opening of the organization’s newest club location in La Pine, expanding access to the region’s after‑school services. Programs offer homework help, meals, sports, recreation, arts, STEM and leadership activities, with financial assistance available for families. “We are thrilled to be expanding our program to La Pine,” said Michael Baker, CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Oregon.
