Boyz II Men signs with Warner Records Nashville for country album

The R&B vocal group Boyz II Men has signed a deal with Warner Records Nashville to release a country music album in 2027. This upcoming project marks the group’s first new studio album in a decade, following 2017’s ‘Under the Streetlight’.

Group members Shawn Stockman, Nathan Morris, and Wanyá Morris have been collaborating with award-winning Nashville songwriters to develop the record. Stockman noted the group’s appreciation for the storytelling component of country music, while Morris highlighted the melodic similarities between the genres.

The group has previously engaged with country music through collaborations with artists such as Lady A, Chris Stapleton, and Cody Johnson, as well as a performance at the Grand Ole Opry.
