Bozhidar Sarabeykov takes fifth in Diamond League long jump

Bulgarian long jumper Bozhidar Sarabeykov secured fifth place at the Diamond League athletics tournament in Zurich, Switzerland. Sarabeykov recorded a jump of 8.16 meters, which was his only successful attempt out of five.

The competition was won by Greek athlete Miltiadis Tentoglou with a jump of 8.45 meters. Tajay Gayle of Jamaica took second place with 8.43 meters, followed by Olympic silver medalist Wayne Pinnock of Jamaica in third with 8.33 meters.

Sarabeykov expressed motivation following the event, noting that despite several fouls due to his high-risk approach, he is pleased with his performance. He has secured a spot in the Diamond League final, scheduled to take place on September 4 in Brussels, Belgium.
