BPDP accelerates palm oil rejuvenation and human resource development
The Palm Oil Fund Management Agency (BPDP) is accelerating the People's Palm Oil Rejuvenation Program (PSR) and strengthening plantation human resources. This initiative is marked by the signing of a tripartite cooperation agreement for the Batch VI Palm Oil Plantation Rejuvenation Fund Program.
According to BPDP President Director Eddy Abdurachman, the PSR program is a strategic government effort to increase productivity, ensure industry sustainability, and improve farmer welfare by replacing unproductive plants with superior seeds and implementing Good Agricultural Practices (GAP). Since 2016, the program has reached 187,782 farmers covering 428,745 hectares, with total funds distributed amounting to Rp12.86 trillion. In 2026, the program has already processed 133 proposals covering 20,229 hectares for 10,403 farmers, totaling Rp606 billion in distributed funds.
