BPE enters UK market via partnership with OPT Services

Best Power Equipments (India) Private Limited (BPE), a Noida-based manufacturer of critical-power and energy-storage systems, has entered the United Kingdom market through a distribution partnership with OPT Services Limited.

Under the agreement, OPT Services will distribute BPE’s portfolio—including uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, battery energy storage systems (BESS), Smart Racks, and intelligent power distribution units (iPDUs)—to industrial customers, critical-infrastructure operators, and data centres. The rollout will initially focus on London and major UK data-centre clusters before expanding nationally.

While OPT Services manages market development and customer engagement, BPE will provide engineering support, product training, and application design. The expansion follows two years of engagement in the UK market and is intended to establish a base for BPE’s broader European expansion. This move occurs amid growing India-UK engineering trade, supported by a trade agreement that has seen engineering exports to the UK rise significantly.
