Bpifrance hosts annual BIG entrepreneurship summit in Paris
Bpifrance has launched the 12th edition of its annual Bpifrance Inno Generation (BIG) gathering at the Accor Arena in Paris. The event, themed around “culot” (audacity or nerve), aims to highlight the resilience of entrepreneurs amidst a challenging socio-economic climate characterized by high business failure rates, low growth, and rising public debt.
Nicolas Dufourcq, president of Bpifrance, noted that despite economic difficulties, regional agencies continue to see new development and establishment projects. Julien Noronha, executive director of Bpifrance, emphasized that entrepreneurs are essential to the country's economic recovery.
In a record-breaking year for 2025, the public investment bank injected 72 billion euros into the French economy, with 21 billion euros allocated in the form of credits to support various sectors.
