BPJS Kesehatan and DJSN inspect worker health insurance at PT IWIP

BPJS Kesehatan and the National Social Security Council (DJSN) conducted a field visit to the PT Indonesia Weda Bay Industrial Park in Central Halmahera, North Maluku, to monitor compliance with the National Health Insurance (JKN) program.

Akmal Budi Yulianto, Director of Membership at BPJS Kesehatan, emphasized that as industrial activity and the number of workers grow, it is vital for all business entities, including vendors and partners, to ensure their employees are registered and hold active JKN membership. He noted that access to healthcare supports worker productivity and business sustainability. Additionally, Yulianto encouraged companies to utilize Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs to strengthen health protection for communities living near industrial zones.
