BPJS Kesehatan boosts JKN awareness through campus outreach and hospital management workshop

BPJS Kesehatan Cabang Bulukumba partnered with the student association HPMT at Institut Turatea Indonesia to hold a JKN socialisation event on 24 June 2026. The programme, attended by the institute’s rector, BPJS officials and hundreds of students, explained the national health insurance system, enrollment procedures, benefits and the importance of maintaining active membership.

Separately, the Indonesian Hospital Association (PERSI) organised a two‑day workshop on 31 July–1 August 2026 in Jakarta for hospital owners, directors and managers. The training covered the latest JKN regulations, strategies for efficient and effective service delivery, fraud‑prevention measures, use of hospital management information systems, and the development of KPI‑based work plans to sustain the programme’s financial viability.

Both initiatives illustrate BPJS Kesehatan’s effort to improve public and provider understanding of JKN, promote health‑literacy among students and equip hospitals with tools to manage the expanding insurance scheme sustainably.
