BPJS Ketenagakerjaan expands coverage, pays Rp68.24 trillion in benefits through 2025
BPJS Ketenagakerjaan projects 48.65 million active participants by the end of 2025, bringing total programme enrollment to 69.31 million workers, including 14.2 million informal (BPU) workers. The agency will disburse roughly Rp68.24 trillion in benefits across the year, processing 5.77 million claims.
The Job Loss Protection (JKP) scheme has been extended, delivering cash assistance worth Rp1.01 trillion to 90,513 workers and providing labour‑market information and training. Digital services via the Jamsostek Mobile app are used by 33.68 million people, handling 66.3 % of pension‑fund claims. A network of 318 branch offices and 5,357 occupational‑accident service centres supports rapid access to benefits.
