BPSC extends TRE-4 teacher recruitment application deadline

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has extended the application deadline for the fourth phase of the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE-4). Following a recommendation from the Education Department, the commission has provided additional time for candidates to complete their registrations for 33,320 teaching positions.

Under the revised schedule, applicants must complete their fee payments by November 2, 2026. The final deadline to submit the completed online application is November 3, 2026. This extension follows the original deadline of October 26.

The recruitment drive aims to fill vacancies for teaching positions covering Classes 1 through 12 in government schools under the Bihar Education Department. The total number of vacancies was recently increased by 932, bringing the total count to 33,320 posts.
