B&Q celebrates 39 years with wellness and safety event

B&Q celebrated its 39th anniversary with a sports training event focused on its ‘Pacto pela Vida’ (Pact for Life) initiative. The event, held on August 23, brought together approximately 300 employees and their families for a morning of physical activity and integration.

The initiative aims to promote health, well-being, and the strengthening of family bonds as part of the company's organizational culture. According to CEO Luís Carlos Queiroz, the celebration emphasizes that caring for people involves not only workplace safety but also healthy habits and the support systems that sustain employees.

The ‘Pacto pela Vida’ program has been implemented for over a decade and is recognized within the electrical sector. It establishes a safety culture where employees and their families share a personal commitment to ensuring every professional returns home safely at the end of their workday.
