BR-153 highway implements new detours for duplication works

New traffic detours have been implemented on the BR-153 highway in the North Pioneiro region of Paraná to facilitate the construction of viaducts. These changes are part of an ongoing project by the concessionaire EPR Litoral Pioneiro to duplicate the highway.

The new detours are located at kilometers 18 and 24 in Jacarezinho, and at kilometer 45 in Santo Antônio da Platina. In these sections, traffic is being redirected to the highway's marginal lanes, which are operating with two-way circulation to allow construction to proceed without vehicles passing directly through the work zones.

These recent interventions add to four existing detours that have been in operation since late July at kilometers 17, 23, 39, and 41.
