BR Podcast Telephobia returns with new season on ARD Sounds

The award-winning Bavarian Broadcasting (BR) podcast ‘Telephobia’ will release a new season on ARD Sounds starting November 4. Hosted by Lea Utz, the series follows individuals as they attempt to make difficult phone calls they have long postponed.

The new season features five stories sourced from the ‘Telephobia’ community, often focusing on family dynamics and unresolved conflicts. Featured narratives include Matthias’s attempt to reconnect with his brother Markus to facilitate a meeting with their elderly parents, and Julia’s search for an original traffic camera photo from thirteen years ago.

Other episodes follow Celina as she confronts a suspected thief, Harald in search of a missing friend and violin, and David as he addresses a childhood trauma.
