Bára Basiková and son attend documentary premiere
Czech singer Bára Basiková and her son, Theodor Polák, were featured at the premiere of a time-lapse documentary by Helena Třeštíková at the Lucerna Cinema. The film captures Basiková’s life and her son’s upbringing, as he was filmed from early childhood.
During the event, Polák discussed his relationship with the film and his mother’s fame. He expressed that he does not wish to present himself through his mother’s celebrity status, stating it does not feel dignified to him. Despite this, he noted a strong personal connection to music.
Basiková, a prominent figure in the Czech rock and pop scene for four decades, also shared reflections on her personal life, including her desire to spend more time in southern climates like Greece, Italy, or Spain as her son approaches adulthood.
