Bára Basiková documentary premieres at Lucerna
Director Helena Třeštíková has premiered a chronological documentary at Lucerna focusing on the life of Czech singer Bára Basiková. The film spans thirty years, capturing Basiková’s evolution as a musical figure, partner, and mother.
During the premiere, Basiková’s son, Theodor, shared his reflections on the film. He also touched upon his mother’s three marriages and the complexities of growing up in the public eye, noting that he did not initially realize the extent of her fame.
