The documentary film by Helena Třeštíková, which chronicles 50 years of singer Bára Basiková’s life, has received significant public attention following its release. While the film has garnered positive feedback, particularly from women who find it inspiring, Basiková noted a lack of response from her three former husbands.

The film explores her personal history, including her marriages to Petr Jích, Jaromír Pizinger, and Petr Polák, as well as the personal struggles and anxiety she faced during difficult periods.

Basiková’s son, Theodor, also viewed a pre-screening of the film. He expressed regret to his mother for his past behavior during her more challenging years, a reaction that Basiková described as deeply moving.
