Bára Basiková reflects on unfulfilled romance with Petr Muk

Czech singer Bára Basiková has shared reflections on her past relationship with the late musician Petr Muk. While the two shared a long-standing friendship and professional connection through musical productions such as 'Rusalky' and 'Johanka z Arku', they never became a romantic couple.

In an interview with Marianne magazine, Basiková expressed regret over not pursuing a romantic relationship with Muk, stating, “I still regret that I did not win Petr Muk over.” She noted that while their careers ran in parallel and their bond grew deeper over the years, they never crossed the line into a partnership. Basiková mentioned that as she ages, she finds herself regretting the things she did not do rather than the actions she took.
