The town of Bra hosted the 'Sport in piazza' event on September 13, a community gathering designed to promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles through various disciplines. Held at the Parco Atleti Azzurri d'Italia, the event featured demonstrations and information stands from over thirty local sports associations.
Activities catered to all ages and included field hockey, football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, athletics, martial arts, climbing, and archery. Mental sports such as chess and checkers were also featured, alongside fitness demonstrations and dance. The event aimed to encourage movement and social interaction following the summer holidays.
In addition to physical sports, the event included social and wellness initiatives. The Fondazione CRC presented the SPES program, which focuses on youth suicide prevention, and the Radis project offered yoga and meditation. Prizes, including a BMX bike, a scooter, and a skateboard, were raffled off to participants under 18 who engaged with at least ten different sports.
