Brad Binder and Franco Morbidelli weigh WorldSBK moves

MotoGP rider Brad Binder said he expects to know more about a possible switch to BMW’s World Superbike team within the next few weeks. The South African two‑time race winner, who has raced for KTM since 2020 on Michelin tyres, declined to confirm any deal but indicated that negotiations are ongoing and that he will announce his decision once everything is finalised.

Italian rider Franco Morbidelli, who will leave the VR46 MotoGP squad at the end of the 2026 season, also remained tight‑lipped when asked about a factory Ducati World Superbike seat for 2027. He acknowledged that the seat could go to him, to Nicolo Bulega or to Moto2 leader Manu Gonzalez, but offered no comment on his own prospects, saying he is “living his dream life” and cannot discuss the matter at the moment.
