Brad Pitt and David Fincher to collaborate on Cliff Booth film

Brad Pitt will reprise his role as Cliff Booth in the upcoming comedy-drama ‘The Adventures of Cliff Booth’. While the film is connected to the world of ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’, Pitt clarified that it is not a traditional sequel but rather a continuation of the character’s story, focusing on his life as a Hollywood studio fixer in the 1970s.

Quentin Tarantino wrote the screenplay and is serving as a producer, but he will not direct the project. Tarantino expressed that directing another story within that specific cinematic world did not provide the excitement he desired for his tenth and final film. Instead, he licensed the script to David Fincher, marking the first directorial collaboration between Fincher and Pitt in 18 years.

The film is scheduled to debut in IMAX theaters on November 25, 2026, followed by a streaming release on Netflix on December 23, 2026.
