Brad Pitt remains hopeful despite children dropping his surname

Actor Brad Pitt is reportedly maintaining optimism regarding his relationship with his children, despite several of them taking legal steps to remove his surname. Maddox and Zahara have filed petitions to drop “Pitt” from their names, following similar moves by other children as they have reached adulthood.

Amidst these family tensions and the long-standing legal disputes following his divorce from Angelina Jolie, Pitt has also addressed his sobriety. He recently admitted to drinking alcohol again after seven years of sobriety, describing it as a “gradual process” and stating that he now consumes alcohol, such as wine, in a “more restrained manner.”

Insiders suggest that Pitt is approaching the estrangement with “patience, resilience, and persistence,” believing he will eventually regain a place in his children's lives. He reportedly remains committed to being available to them whenever they may need him.
