Brad Pitt seeks court order for Angelina Jolie to produce financial records

Brad Pitt has filed a new legal request to compel Angelina Jolie to produce financial records from 2017 to 2019. The filing alleges that Jolie initially agreed to provide broader profit-participation statements but later “withdrew her agreement.”

This dispute is part of a long-running legal battle regarding the Château Miraval winery. Pitt’s legal team indicated they would withdraw the request if Jolie agrees to two stipulations: stating she was not under “economic pressure” before January 1, 2020, and confirming Pitt did not exert “economic coercion” between 2017 and 2019.

Jolie’s filing has rejected these claims, stating she has never alleged financial distress. She has framed the matter as a need for privacy and the separation of her financial life from her ex-husband. The litigation stems from a 2022 lawsuit following Jolie’s $67 million sale of her stake in the French estate to a company controlled by Yuri Shefler.
