Brad Pitt sequel to ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ set for IMAX release

The upcoming film ‘The Adventures of Cliff Booth’ is set for a limited IMAX-only theatrical run in the United States across approximately 350 locations starting November 25, 2026. Directed by David Fincher and written by Quentin Tarantino, the sequel follows Brad Pitt’s character from the 2019 film ‘Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood’. The movie will debut globally on Netflix on December 23, 2026.

In anticipation of the sequel, the original film ‘Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood’ is scheduled to begin streaming on Prime Video on September 25, 2026. The 2019 production, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie, earned two Academy Awards and remains highly rated by critics.

The new installment, set in 1977, features an ensemble cast including Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Elizabeth Debicki. Leonardo DiCaprio will not return for the sequel.
