Brad Pitt stars in Alaskan survival drama ‘Heart of the Beast’

Special footage and behind-the-scenes photos have been released for the upcoming film ‘Heart of the Beast’, starring Brad Pitt and directed by David Ayer. Set in the remote wilderness of Alaska, the story follows a veteran and a former reconnaissance dog with a prosthetic limb as they journey together to return home.

Actor Brad Pitt, who plays the veteran James, described the film as a survival story that is fundamentally a ‘love story’ centered on the profound bond between humans and dogs. Director David Ayer, who previously collaborated with Pitt on ‘Fury’, noted the extreme difficulty of filming in locations involving glaciers, mountains, and dense forests, describing the environment as a character in itself.

The production faced harsh weather conditions, including heavy rain and steep canyons, but the cast and crew described the experience as a unique and special opportunity. The film is scheduled for release on September 25.
