The 74th edition of the San Sebastián International Film Festival, scheduled for September 18 to 26, will feature several high-profile stars and premieres. Brad Pitt is set to return to the festival for the first time in 17 years to present ‘Heart of the Beast’, an adventure thriller directed by David Ayer. The film, which stars Pitt as a retired special forces officer surviving in the Alaskan wilderness with his dog, will be screened in the Official Section but out of competition.

Additionally, the festival will honor Argentine actor Ricardo Darín, who appears on the event’s official poster. As part of a tribute to Darín, the festival will host the world premiere of ‘Lo dejamos acá’ (Therapy Done Right), directed by Hernán Goldfrid and starring Darín and Diego Peretti. The film is scheduled for a global release on Netflix on October 16.

The festival lineup includes 25 Spanish productions and a variety of international titles, marking a significant gathering for global cinema.
