Brad Pitt to reprise Cliff Booth role in new film and novel

Brad Pitt will reprise his role as Cliff Booth in the upcoming film ‘The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth’, a standalone sequel and spin-off to Quentin Tarantino’s 2019 movie ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’. Directed by David Fincher and written by Tarantino, the story is set in 1977 Los Angeles, eight years after the original film's events.

In addition to the film, Tarantino is releasing a novel titled ‘The Adventures of Cliff Booth’, published by HarperCollins. The book is scheduled for release on December 8, 2026. The plot follows Booth, a former war hero turned stuntman, bartender, and cinema projectionist who occasionally provides ‘clandestine services’ for his friends.

The film is expected to arrive in IMAX theaters starting November 25. While a global trailer release is anticipated around September 21, early previews are currently being shown exclusively in theaters.
