Brad Pitt's 'Heart of the Beast' Survival Thriller Set for Sept. 24 Release

Brad Pitt stars as former Special Forces officer James Belmont in the upcoming film "Heart of the Beast," directed by David Ayer. After a plane crash leaves him and his military dog Odin stranded in the remote Alaskan wilderness, the duo must fight the elements and their own endurance to survive.

The thriller, produced by Paramount Pictures in partnership with Domain Entertainment and Gulfstream Pictures, is scheduled to open in cinemas worldwide on September 24. A trailer released in June highlighted the harsh environment and promised that Odin survives, easing fan concerns.

The cast also includes J.K. Simmons and Anna Lambe, with the screenplay written by Cameron Alexander. Executive producers include Damien Chazelle and Scott Lumpkin, among others.
